Our training sessions are attended by men and women and cater for all levels from beginner to experienced players.
Indoor venue: Netherhall 6th Form College, Queen Ediths Way, Cherry Hinton
During the winter, sessions are held on Monday evenings 8 - 9:30pm at Netherhall 6th Form Sports Centre.
Directions From Cambridge:
Join Hills road at the Catholic Church. Hills Road is the continuation of Regent Street and follow signs towards the Railway Station. Do not turn into Station Road but instead continue along Hills Road over the Railway Bridge. Continue straight on at the junction with Cherry Hinton Road for about 1 mile. At the next major junction turn left into Long Road. Go straight over the next roundabout into Queen Ediths Way. Netherhall 6th Form College is about half a mile on your right. Go into the 3rd gate and park. You will see the sports hall next to the car park.
When you arrive at reception tell the staff member that you have come for volleyball and you will be shown to the main sports hall where we play. You do not have to pay anything at reception as the Hall is prepaid.
Outdoor venue (Summer only) : Jesus Green
Directions from Cambridge:
During the summer we train Outdoors on Jesus Green Common which is next to the Outdoor Swimming Pool and river. Look out for the bright orange volleyball net.
It's best to contact us to check before attending as we only play if the whether is good.
In summer we train/play outdoors on Friday evenings, 6pm onwards, on Jesus Green. This is of course weather permitting. If in doubt contact Hamid before setting off.
